Jane is dead. The afterlife is not how she imagined it to be, with singing angels or monstrous beings. The two embark on a dark and gruesome venture in the lives, and deaths, of Janes loved ones in order to discover the context of her own demise. The non-sequential story of Jane is of heartbreaking tragedies, hope, and resiliency of a womans soul. Skimmington is the walk of shame within each of us.
